Stephen Welsh, Jordan Helm, and John Howard pay their respects to the late Satoru Iwata, rejoice at the news that Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro are still working together, get frustrated but excited with Street Fighter V, lament over Hitman alpha footage, and have a lengthy discussion all about the good, the bad, and the necessary HD remasters that gaming has seen in recent years.

I personally don’t mind remasters. I never buy the same game twice and the option is there for anyone who hasn’t played the original. I actually find remasters a good way for developers to learn how the new hardware works. As you guys mentioned as long as people keep buying them, remakes and remasters will continue to exist.

How, exactly, do I subscribe to the Noshcast? It doesn’t show up in any feeds, anywhere. I follow too many podcasts (over 130) to make exceptions for some to go manually seek them out every week.
