Last we heard from indie developer Sidequest Studios (Söldner-X, Rainbow Moon) they were hard at work on their next strategy RPG grind fest ‘Rainbow Skies‘ developing for the Playstation 3 and VITA. Sidequest Studios has announced via the Playstation Blog that Rainbow Skies will now be coming to Playstation 4 in addition to the other Playstation platforms and for those who missed Rainbow Moon the first time round, that game will also make its way to the Playstation 4. The studio have said they have taken a lot of fan feedback on board and have worked to put a greater emphasis on storytelling in Rainbow Skies.
Rainbow Skies is of course the successor to Rainbow Moon, a game which received mild criticism for its intense level grind. Its trophy ‘Level God’ achieved by getting one of the characters to level 500 is currently held by only 6.04% of people on psnprofiles.com so perhaps the studio have taken this into account as well. Rainbow Moon will be coming to PlayStation 4 sometime in 2016 while Rainbow Skies is planned for launch across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita with cross-save support in the second half of 2016.
