R Mika (or Rainbow Mika to give her full name), has today been confirmed to be the tenth member of the 16-character roster for Street Fighter V. The Japanese lady wrestler had her debut in Street Fighter Alpha 3 back in 1998, but hadn’t been seen since. Now she’s back and she’s not alone. R Mika’s V-Trigger ability will call in her wrestling partner Nadeshiko in order to perform devastating tag-team attacks on her opponent.
Aside from her moveset of wrestling grapples, she’ll also be able to pull out a microphone to hype up the crowd and boost her throw power. You can check out the reveal trailer for R Mika below. Street Fighter V has been confirmed to feature 16 playable character at launch. Rather than needing to buy a Super or Ultra edition of the game, players will be able to obtain future characters as premium add-on content, or with currency earned in-game.
Following a disastrous start to the Street Fighter V beta, Capcom decided to delay the first scheduled online test for the game. Now it’s been confirmed that the game’s first worldwide beta test will launch on the 28th of August, and will last until the 2nd of September (August 29th at 12:00am BST to Sepetember 2nd at 3:00pm BST).
