When I initially saw the trailer for Life is Strange, I knew I had to play it. Not because I dug the setting and atmosphere, but because of the ridiculous claims made by games media outlets. Seriously, some the choice quotes are laughable in hindsight. Life is Strange exemplifies the worst aspects of new-age graphic adventure games made popular by Telltale.
Top to bottom, Life Is Strange is a mess. Despite its awesome and unique atmosphere, its predictable, terrible writing and janky technical problems made this game a chore to play. Replaying it again for this review only exposed these problems even more so.
